A leisure centre on Teesside in north-east England has reopened after an £18.5 million refurbishment project that aims to extend the life of the facility by 30 years.
Billingham Forum comprises an ice rink, gym, theatre, bowling alley and swimming pool. The building has been recladded, and the refurbishment has involved reducing the carbon footprint of the building – including an advanced heating control system.
