Aquavia Spa continues with its expansion into the Asian market with the opening of a new sales office in Singapore. It is Aquavia Spa's fifth distributor on the Asian continent. This new acquisition means a further step in the internationalization strategy pursued by the company, who already derives half of its revenues from abroad.
Aquavia Spa, a Spanish company specialising in the development, manufacture and sale of both public and private hydromassage spas, has opened a new sales office in Singapore, one of the countries with the highest GDP per capita in the world. This new office comes as an addition to the company's existing distributors elsewhere in the continent (Dubai, Israel, Lebanon and India), thus allowing it to strengthen its expansion in Asia.
The new distributor will deal with the sale and installation of Aquavia Spa's wellness products. “On a continent as large as Asia, we needed to have a sales outlet in South-East Asia, as we are now seeing robust economic growth in the Far East despite the current situation in the West. We had identified a demand for such an outlet from our customers, so this was a natural step in our expansion plans”, explains Artur Deu, managing director of the company.
With over 30 years' experience, the new sales office is located in Depot Lane, a major business district that has good connections to other parts of the city and is easy to access.
