The preparations for aquanale, the International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool, Ambience from 24 to 27 October 2023 are picking up speed. Twelve months before the opening of the sector's leading trade fair, the organisers are already reporting a high level of registrations, including many companies that were unable to participate in 2021 due to the pandemic.
Preparations for the leading industry platform are in full swing
The trade fair team is also holding intensive discussions with potential trade fair participants, discussing stand preferences and agreeing other fine points in preparation for the event. The early-bird discount for aquanale is available until 31 January 2023. Interested companies still have up until then to secure the benefits offered. The first announcements on the number of registrations for aquanale and its event programme will be made at the start of next year. aquanale 2023 will take place in co-location with FSB, the International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities. The event's conceptual sponsor is the German Association for Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw / Bundesverband Schwimmbad und Wellness e.V.).
aquanale as the industry's leading international trade fair will present the latest products and designs for modern, sustainable and innovative swimming pool and wellness facilities. As in previous years, it will occupy Koelnmesse's modern Halls 7 and 8, which are located directly beside Entrance North to the trade fair grounds. Hall 7 will present pools and swimming pool technology. The talks venue for the International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum will also be located in Hall 7. Saunas, whirlpools, wellness and spas as well as the private swimming pool segment, including above-ground pools, will be on display in Hall 8.
For what is now the tenth time, the International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum (ISWF) will be staged at aquanale and serve as the link for the event's diverse content. The forum is organised and hosted by the bsw in collaboration with IAKS, the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities. Staged on all days of the trade fair in Hall 7, it will present an informative programme for sector professionals. The speakers will address the issues that are currently prompting discussion in the industry and shed light on them from the perspective of different target groups.
Forthcoming EU standards and regulations mean that market participants must carefully select long-lasting and responsible products that can be repaired and recycled in order to ensure a modern, resource-efficient and competitive sector. Human resources, management and the shortage of skilled workers will also feature on the programme.
ISWF as the industry forum for all of aquanale's partners is also tailored to the needs and concerns of different visitor target groups. A wide-ranging selection of workshops, talks and best practice presentations will provide the knowledge advantage needed to tackle the imminent challenges highlighted above for the swimming pool, spa, sauna and wellness industry.
Green waterparks has been chosen as the theme for the EWA Village, which the European Waterpark Association (EWA) is hosting in partnership with Koelnmesse. This is where the quality association for European leisure pools and spas will present the outstanding performance of its member companies. The focus in the EWA Village will be on dialogue with and among industry members, with the primary aim of discussing relevant issues for operators of leisure pools, waterparks and public pools, and advancing ground-breaking concepts.
Any company that wants to present its innovations and trends for swimming pools, saunas, spas and wellness to international trade visitors from across the globe will find the perfect stage at aquanale 2023. The four days of the trade fair will cover everything from new technologies to process enhancements and visionary plans, leaving no questions unanswered.
