Vita Bad started building high-quality swimming pools 40 years ago, while already taking into account sustainability at that time. Today, this company based in Ermensee (near Lucerne in Switzerland) is celebrating 40 years of success and hard work. It celebrated this anniversary with its employees, customers, business partners and friends at one of the most enjoyable Open Days.
40 years serving "made in Ermensee" swimming pools
Plenty of entertainment was waiting for participants, both young and old alike, organised by management and the on-site team which put their heart and soul into making this occasion a warm and memorable celebration.
The little ones also had fun with a clown and magician
Founded in 1983 by Silvia and Anton Achermann, using a barn as their headquarters, Vita Bad has grown a lot since then and now holds the largest swimming pool showroom in the country. Having been run by the 2nd generation of the family since 2008 - Ueli Achermann and Gabi Hecht-Achermann - the company not only values professionalism, but for a long time it has also valued sustainability and protecting the environment.
Tamara Hänggi and Yves Burgener from Aqua Solar were also among the guests and were delighted to meet Vita Bad boss Ueli Achermann.
For example, the model "Vita Pool Classic" uses wood from the region, and the company uses self-generated solar power for production and offers alternatives to chlorine. This year, Vita Bad was nominated several times for the European pool prize EUSA AWARD, having already been awarded a gold trophy last year.
In addition to its great work for its customers, the company is also active in the industry on a voluntary basis - for example as a co-initiator of the Swiss partner country for this year's aquanale.
EuroSpaPoolNews wishes Vita Bad a happy anniversary and all the best for the future!
