The British Swimming Pool Federation (BSPF) has appointed Teresa Beazley as Managing Director, effective September 2026. She brings more than 25 years of experience across membership organisations, manufacturing, engineering, healthcare and business services.

More than 25 years of experience in industry organisations

Teresa Beazley joins the BSPF from The Lighting Industry Association (The LIA), where she most recently worked on initiatives focused on industry capability, education and stakeholder engagement.

Her career has been marked by a strong commitment to professional development and collaboration across industry. In 2026, she was recognised as Learning Professional of the Year and included in the Women in Trade Associations Powerlist.

Taking up her new position, Teresa Beazley intends to spend her first months meeting BSPF members and partners and gaining a deeper understanding of the priorities and challenges facing the swimming pool and spa sector.

Commenting on her appointment, she highlighted the importance of strong professional relationships, high standards and collaboration in building a successful industry. She also stressed her intention to build on the knowledge and experience already present within the BSPF while bringing perspectives gained from the other sectors in which she has worked.

Her appointment marks a new stage for the Federation as it continues to support its members and represent the interests of the UK swimming pool and spa industry.
