After energy efficiency, connectivity and automation, iGarden, a Fairland Group brand, is focusing on a new step: artificial intelligence capable of coordinating pool, garden and energy equipment. At Piscine Global 2026, the manufacturer will showcase its AI Garden ecosystem through more than 15 innovations.

Three questions for bringing real AI into the garden

Artificial intelligence is gradually making its way into the pool and connected garden sector. For iGarden, however, its value goes beyond adding new digital functions. The aim is to enable equipment to understand its real environment and adapt its operation accordingly.

The manufacturer sees this development as the next stage following some of the technologies that have already transformed pool equipment: Inverter technology brought greater efficiency, smartphone control improved convenience, and robotic cleaners introduced automation. AI could now go a step further by connecting and coordinating more of the equipment used around the garden.

Can AI spot risks before it acts?

For iGarden, genuine garden intelligence must first be able to identify risks before taking action. A garden is a real environment in which weather, water conditions, lawn conditions, terrain, energy loads, product operating rules and the presence of people can all influence the right decision.

Rather than simply following commands, AI should therefore be able to recognise its operating context and respect the limits of each piece of equipment.

Can AI make expert decisions?

A second requirement is specialised expertise. Pool care, heating, cleaning, lawn maintenance and energy management each involve specific knowledge.

iGarden therefore advocates an approach that combines AI capabilities with in-depth industry expertise rather than relying solely on general-purpose intelligence.

Can AI make the whole garden work smarter together?

The third challenge is coordination. While pool robots have already demonstrated the benefits of intelligence applied to a single category of equipment, iGarden wants to extend this approach across several areas of the outdoor environment.

The objective is to make different categories work together through intelligent coordination, rather than relying solely on fixed connections between products.

Blue, Green and Energy brought together at Piscine Global 2026

At Piscine Global 2026, iGarden will provide a first look at this approach through an ecosystem spanning three areas: Blue, for the pool, Green, for the garden, and Energy, for energy management.

More than 15 innovations will be presented to illustrate a vision in which different outdoor products can work together more intelligently. According to Fairland Group, this broader ecosystem approach could also create new opportunities for professionals by extending their role beyond individual products and categories.

Visitors will be able to discover the iGarden and Fairland Group solutions in Lyon on their stands.
