Italian company Pool’s is launching a new concept in skimming which works in the same way as an overflow system.

The large opening means that a greater quantity of surface water can be drawn in, giving improved cleaning efficiency.

The inlet automatically adjusts with water level, so it does not make any cumbersome noises and provides an aesthetically pleasing solution to the problem of skimming.

The skimmer is fixed to the inside of the pool wall and works in a similar way to those found in perimeter–overflow pools.

This new product means that pools can be built with a new and pleasing aesthetic whilst providing efficient surface water cleansing.

For planning purposes, a suction capacity of at least 0.37 kW (0.50 Hp) is recommended for each skimmer installed.
