SpaClean from Dutch manufacturer AquaFinesse is used as a flush cleaner and helps clean up a spa from debris inside piping and pumps.
A clean system takes care for more comfortable maintenance and reduces the need for harsh chemicals like cleaners for walls etc. Remaining test water from the factory in a new spa or not using it for a long period of time can cause debris attached to the walls and inside piping of the system.
Usually harsh chemicals are needed to clean the whole thing. SpaClean works in a different way and is designed to rinse the system and loosen the debris from their substrate.
Every three months the water in a spa has to be changed. This is a good moment to carry out this cleaning process which spreads over two days. On the first day, one just has to leave the water and open all valves and jets, also air, waterfall, etc. (high water temperature is not necessary) and put the treatment in the basket above the filter or use a floating dispenser to dissolve it. Pumps then have to be run on full power during at least 20 minutes, twice a day.
After the second day, the spa can be emptied and walls can be cleaned with fresh water. Fill it again with fresh tap water and regular treatment can be resumed.
