Within the reach of high-tech enthusiasts, Ocedis offers Prizma, a photo colorimetric pH and chlorine regulator for pool water. Every four or eight hours, depending on requirements, it carries out a flawless photometric analysis of the water, and injects the correct dosage to correct pH and chlorine levels, avoiding the excessive use of chemicals.
A sample of water is added to the colorimetric developer DPD1 (free chlorine), and a patented optical analysis system determines the chlorine content. The pH of the water is measured in the same manner with the Phenol Red developer.
The colorimetric reagents are pre-dosed in the form of felt pastilles attached to a looped tape in a waterproof cassette.
Each cassette can be used for 250 successive tests, or for approximately two months of operation. The regulator is shipped ready to install with a wall mounting bracket and pipe fittings.
