Swedish pool equipment specialist Pahlén has launched Auto-UV75, a new UV lamp enclosed in a titanium body designed to eliminate harmful bacteria in public and private pools.
Return water from the pool is pumped through the sand filter and is then passed through the Auto-UV75, where short-wave ultraviolet UVC radiation eliminates bacteria, viruses and algae. The treated water then returns to the pool.
The company says the result is “clean and crystal clear” pool water and a reduced need for chlorine dosing – a reduction in chlorine use of up to 70% is claimed.
An indicator on the top of the unit lights blue when the UV lamp is in operation.
Pahlén CEO says Auto-UV75 meets the pool owner’s needs and wishes for smart, environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions.
