Dutch LED pool light company Eva Optic has had its entire series of LED underwater lights tested by the Dutch IEC-accredited testing institute DEKRA to the widely recognised international standard for underwater lights, EN 60598-2-18.

Testing to this standard is not mandatory, but Eva Optic chose to have all of its underwater lights tested in order to demonstrate the quality of its pool lighting products.

The Eva Optic LED pool lights were tested on a number of parameters, including electrical safety, waterproofness, insulation class, impact resistance, mechanical strength, resistance to high pressure, thermal protection and fire safety.

The entire range of Eva Optic LED underwater lights has passed the tests with flying colours.
