Two new products are to be launched under the AquaChek brand at this year’s Spatex trade show.
First up is the AquaChek TruTest Spa, which automatically judges the colour reaction to a spa water sample on the test strip, and displays the test result on the LCD screen.
The TruTest Spa tests for total bromine, total chlorine, total alkalinity and pH, and stores up to nine test results. It includes the meter, sun shield, lanyard and step-by-step operatinginstructions, and is claimed to be fast, easy and accurate.
Meanwhile the ShockChek Pool and Spa Test Strips from AquChek are reckoned to be the fast and easy way to determine if you need to shock (or superchlorinate) your pool or spa.
Shocking is a necessary maintenance step that keeps the water clear of harmful contaminants that can cause irritation and spread water-borne illnesses.
