The concepts of UX and UI design are essential elements in the race towards innovation. 'UX design' is defined as all the means implemented to design an interface that is fully accessible to the user. With UI, we enter the field of the man-machine interface (MMI). The goal is to improve the interaction between users and the machine.

Innovations in user experience

From the beginning, these two concepts have nourished innovation at Pool Technologie, with the Premium Natural Pool Series being the most recent development.
The manufacturer will go even further in 2023. First, the size aspect has been reworked. Pool Technologie now offers a 4.3-inch HD screen. The liquid-crystal IPS (In-Plane Switching) pad offers optimal display quality. A wide-angle view ensures colorimetric fidelity. This revolution enables a clear and simultaneous display of 4 pool parameters (depending on the configurations of the devices) and set point values. At a simple glance, it is possible to view the state of the pool via a colour code: blue indicates normal operation, orange for information messages, and red for an alert. The built-in presence sensor detects the user's approach and activates the device from standby while lighting the keypad. In addition, this photosensitive sensor automatically adapts screen brightness to the environment. This innovation is particularly well-appreciated in dark technical rooms.

The menu architecture has been redesigned to offer maximum user comfort. The development of a capacitive keypad is the perfect illustration of this. Activation, configuration and maintenance activities are simplified through the display of written messages. The user is guided by an intuitive display (step by step), active key backlighting and status indicators.
Pool Technologie has also deployed its new user interface on its dosing and regulation panels derived from the professional range.
