Pentair Water Pool has announced its new logistics platform is fully operational. As part of the reorganization put in place during the last years, the company has invested in a new and more modern logistic centre to improve its logistics.
Placed very close to its existing Belgian plant, the new logistics platform has a bigger warehouse and more docks to allow simultaneous receiving and shipping operations.
However, the major highlight is the implementation of SAP Warehouse Management System with Radio Frequency techniques to guarantee reliable real time information on products and improve the service to its customers.
