The Australian pool and spa association SPASA (Swimming Pool and Spa Alliance) is launching a national trade exhibition to be staged in mid-August.

Called the SPASA Convention, the event will comprise a national trade expo combined with educational workshops, as well as providing a platform to network with professionals across the entire pool and spa industry.

Exhibitors will include suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and service providers from every sector of the pool and spa industry.

Seminars being held at the event include a plant room tour of the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, swimming pool legislation and the relevant Australian standards,  advanced water quality, swimming pool and spa hydraulics, the online retailing revolution, and Australian consumer law.

The last day of the exhibition will see the staging of the SPASA Awards of Excellence, designed to promote achievement in design, innovation and professionalism across all sectors of the industry and encourage a high degree of competency and professionalism by SPASA members.
