SCP Europe, a subsidiary of PoolCorp, announces the arrival of Xavier DAROK, PhD in Materials Science, as EU Water Treatment Product Manager, in SCP Europe teams.

With a background in Chemical Engineering and a doctorate in Materials Science, Xavier will be responsible for implementing the business strategy of the range of chemical and water products within 13 subsidiaries of SCP in Europe.

He will also have to manage the development of product ranges, training, support to countries and clients, implementation of marketing tools, and to process the improvement and storage certification in all agencies including development of the ACTI label.

Widely recognized as an expert in his field, Dr Xavier DAROK, 36, worked for six years as a chemical engineer at OCEDIS France and is a member of several European committees as:

• Chairman of the Health, Safety and Environment committee and Expert Chemist for the French Pool Association (FPP).

• Liaison and technical experts for European standardization: Committee / TC402 (pool and home spa) - CEN / TC 164 (water).

• Member of the French mirror: Comity AFNOR P40A; AFNOR PSD P15P AFNOR, ISO TC 224/WG 8 TG3.

• Certified trainer: water treatment, regulations and implementation.

Xavier DAROK will be based at SCP Headquarters in Massy (Paris region) where he will work in coordination with the European teams to position SCP as a key partner of the Pool dealer network for chemicals and Water treatment.
