On the 28th, 29th and 30th of November, the charming seaside resort of Rovinj in Croatia hosted the 4th edition of SCP Europe's Sales Conferences & Vendor Showcase (ISC).  During these three days, the Group's teams, POOLCORP's management, the world's leading manufacturers in the Pool and Wellness industry, as well as partner brands, attended a meticulously orchestrated programme.

It was with these words full of passion that Sylvia Monfort, Managing Director of SCP Europe, greeted the 300 participants attending this biennial SCP Europe event at Rovinj.

It was then the turn of Manny Perez de la Mesa, Chairman and Managing Director of POOLCORP, the American parent company, and Peter Arvan, COO, to take the floor to present their roadmap and areas for improvement to pursue SCP's industry-leading growth worldwide and in Europe.

All through these studious days, participants were able to visit the stands of partner exhibitor brands, attend conferences, technical trainings and meet their preferred suppliers, and also the SCP teams from 8 countries and 15 European sales offices, during high-quality discussions.

The Showcase was indeed an opportunity for SCP Europe's suppliers (more than forty in total) to come and present their products, teams and services, to highlight their brands, to launch previews of their strategic ranges, accompanied by training, or to explain their preseason offers.

If the tone was professional, the ambiance was a lot friendlier and was punctuated with festive moments, including the opening dinner devoted to a programme of Croatian festivities, in the presence of the Mayor of Rovinj, as was the closing Gala.

The high points succeeded each other, from the release of smiley balloons to the magnificent fireworks launched from a private beach.

Organised in the magnificent setting of the Hotel LONE, reserved for the event, this major professional meeting was planned by Eric Galais, Marketing Director Europe, and the Europe teams, with the logistical support of the new Croatian entity of the Group, SCP Adriatica.

In fact, SCP Europe has just acquired the company E Grupa, newly renamed SCP Adriatica and attached to SCP Italy.  A customer of the Group for more than 10 years, E Grupa is both a Local Distributor and Retailer of Swimming Pools in Istria, the peninsula located in northwest Croatia, bordering Slovenia.

The latter took the place of honour at this important meeting, firstly with a Croatian opening night, and then with the presence of many local E Grupa clients, who came to meet the SCP teams and suppliers during this private exhibition.

During these 3 days, on an immense stage equipped with 3 giant screens, were held shows and burlesque performances prepared by the SCP regional managers and their teams, the welcoming of the new teams from the last acquisitions in Croatia, but also in Malaga (Intermark / Kripsol), and the awards ceremony for Best Vendors of the Year, awarded to the best SCP Europe suppliers, and the Best Sales Centre, with prizes for the best SCP agencies of the year 2017.
