Two days of Congress/Show/Networking for the swimming pool, saunas and spas professionals

The leading trade fair for swimming pools, saunas and spas will take place on 22 and 23 September 2021 under the name interbad Innovation Days with a more compact alternative concept. The organisers want to bring the industry together again in 2021 by staging this live event. The interbad Innovation Days - Congress/Show/Networking, will therefore be the first national and Europe-wide live event for the swimming pool, sauna and wellness industry after the corona pandemic. The new format at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre will offer trade visitors and exhibitors two exciting days with a Congress, networking and an accompanying exhibition.

"We are pleased to present an alternative concept in autumn 2021 that will enable us to bring the industry together in one place in this exceptional year," said Andreas Wiesinger, a member of the Board of Management of Messe Stuttgart.
"We developed the interbad Innovation Days 2021 as a live event which will again finally satisfy the wish for personal communication between visitors and exhibitors, make it possible to experience the key topic of innovation and, above all, enable know-how to be transferred on a wide scale. The adapted setting with a qualified safety concept will offer planning security and therefore focus on important aspects after the long lockdown," added Wiesinger.

Great response to the interbad Innovation Days 2021

The decision in favour of the interbad Innovation Days went down well with every participant. Christian Mankel, Managing Director of the German Association for the Recreational and Medicinal Bath Industry, said: "Throughout society we are now seeing more encouragement and confidence which we, as the first physical industry event at the interbad Innovation Days, want to emphasise as a strong signal for the swimming pool sector.
With a condensed, exclusive and progressive format, the two days in September will provide a framework which will combine technical innovations with substantive industry perspectives and future challenges, and make them attractive for all visitors. The première of the Innovation Days, accompanied by an interesting Congress programme featuring renowned speakers, will examine the broad guidelines of a changing market and will mark the start of the post-pandemic awakening society
."

Martin Niederstein, Managing Director of the German Sauna Association, is also confident about the planned live event in September: "The alternative concept of the interbad Innovation Days is very impressive. After a forced break for many months due to the corona pandemic, new invigorating standards will be set for the sauna and swimming pool industry. Finally, there will again be an opportunity to exchange personal opinions and carry out networking. The key topic of innovation will address an important future driver. The German Sauna Association is looking forward to the event and wishes it every success - also in regard to the next regular interbad in autumn 2022."

Next regular interbad in October 2022

By mutual consent and in close coordination with the supporting association and the trade fair advisory board, it was decided to postpone the regular interbad until 2022. It was then agreed that the interbad Innovation Days would be staged instead. In view of the foreseeable continuation of the travel restrictions and the condensed worldwide trade fair market situation for all participants, it was deemed impractical and unrealistic to stage interbad in 2021. Over 40 per cent of the exhibitors and more than 1 in 4 visitors come from abroad. The 27th International trade fair for swimming pools, saunas and spas with Congress for pool and bath technology will be held in October 2022.
