aquanale, International Trade Fair for Sauna.Pool.Ambience., is right on course. Following the end of the early bird phase, the leading industry trade fair, which will first take place in a good eight months, is already registering a strong exhibitor response, including all domestic and foreign companies of relevance for the market.

All relevant companies have already applied - 85 percent of exhibition space is already booked

"We anticipate a very good aquanale that will seamlessly connect with the strong previous events and will continue to develop - especially since we can now plan without the restrictions of the past three years", Matthias Pollmann, Vice President Trade Fair Management of Koelnmesse, is pleased to report about the outstanding application status. "We have now already filled more than 85 percent of the exhibition space and still have a runup of several months. A clear signal from the industry that the aquanale is indispensable as an international industry platform", Pollmann continues.

aquanale will take place from 24 to 27 October 2023 in Cologne, parallel with FSB, the International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities. The conceptual sponsor of the event is the German Association for Swimming Pools and Wellness (bsw / Bundesverband Schwimmbad und Wellness e.V.).

The attractiveness of aquanale for the international pool and wellness industry is underscored by the number of confirmed registrations by prestigious companies from Germany and abroad. aquanale will once again take place in Koelnmesse's modern Northern Halls 7 and 8, which are located directly next to Entrance North of the Cologne fair grounds. Hall 7 will present pools and swimming pool technology. The talks venue for the International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum will also be located in Hall 7. Saunas, whirlpools, wellness and spas as well as the private swimming pool segment, including above-ground pools, will be on display in Hall 8.

aquanale has reached agreement concerning a strategic partnership with the association of the Finnish sauna industry "Sauna from Finland", in order to enable additional visibility of and provide support for the efforts of participating companies from Finland to expand their exports at the leading international trade fair. "Trade fairs are there to bring people together, present ideas and establish networks with a sustainable impact. The association of Finnish companies from the sauna and wellness segment under the label Sauna from Finland was very convincing. Behind this stands not only a very long sauna tradition, but also a transformation of the theme into the present with modern materials and forms. Finland has defined a nordic lifestyle with this tradition. In addition to the solid, sustainable and design-oriented products of the Finnish manufacturers of sauna products of all kinds, a special 'spirit' will also be lived", according to Bettina Frias, Director of aquanale.

The International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum (ISWF) will be staged in the context of aquanale for the tenth time. Organised and hosted by the bsw in cooperation with IAKS, the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities, an informative and thematically oriented specialist programme will be presented here on all four trade fair days that will address the issues that are currently prompting discussion in the industry and shed light on them from the perspective of different target groups.

The EWA Village, a cooperative project of the European Waterpark Association (EWA) and Koelnmesse will this year concentrate on the theme of "Green Waterparks". The focus of the EWA Village will be on dialogue with the industry, with the primary aims of discussing issues of relevance for operators of leisure pools, waterparks and public swimming pools and advancing ground-breaking concepts.

At aquanale, exhibitors and trade visitors will also be able to discover our special edition, published in German and English, EuroSpaPoolNews Special Germany 2023.
