Hydropool announces the manufacturing merger of two longstanding Canadian hot tub companies: Hydropool Hot Tubs and Swim Spas and Sunrise Spas.

Two leading Canadian spa companies join forces

The two manufacturers combine to bring nearly a century's worth of leadership, intellectual property and industry experience in the Canadian hot tub and swim spa sector.

"When we saw the chance to work closer together - and deliver significant manufacturing efficiencies out of that closer relationship - the deal became an easy one for both sides,. This move made complete sense for us at Hydropool, due to the economic climate we are all currently living in.", said Hydropool President & General Manager Dan Love.

Hydropool retailers will continue to find the same high level of service and support. While the two companies are joining forces, most current elements will remain in place for each company. Sunrise production and assembly will gradually shift over the next year from Grimsby, Ont, to Hydropool's location in Mississauga, in order to maximize the plant's usage.

"Sharing manufacturing best practices and methods will only benefit Hydropool's assembly processes over time," said Hydropool's Love. "Our goal is to make any production changes as seamless as possible so that it's business as usual - or better - for all of our Hydropool retailers."
