The development of this distribution warehouse will allow the company to centralize stock and enhance product delivery services in response to the high demand in Southern European markets.
The warehouse is designed to meet the highest quality, safety and sustainability standards, in anticipation of earning BREEAM's "Very Good" certification, the most prestigious sustainable construction certificate in the industry. Once completed, the facility will be able to operate under the Seveso regulation, which certifies that it has obtained all necessary permits to store chemical products. Additionally, the two warehouses will be self-sufficient in terms of energy, with 181 photovoltaic panels generating an output of 99.87 kWp.
In line with its strategy, Fluidra will have a total of two warehouses in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, strategically located near the AP-7 freeway halfway between Barcelona and Paris, with 8,000 square meters and 16,000 square meters respectively.
