The prestigious Innovation Award will be presented at interbad 2026. This award recognises innovative solutions that have proven their worth in the field and generate lasting added value in terms of the environment and energy efficiency.

From water slides to water treatment

These companies have submitted their innovations:

• Aquarena GmbH with SmartSlide: the first water slide that guests can customise directly through an app. Lighting, sound and special effects are combined to create personalised scenarios, making every ride unique. 
• Sopro Bauchemie GmbH with SchwimmBadKleber (swimming pool adhesive): it sets new standards for tile installations permanently exposed to water, with its formulation specifically optimised for swimming pool construction. 
• STEULER-KCH GmbH with Steuler BekaBoost: a non-penetrating system in which highly resistant 5 mm PE/PP sheets, supplied in rolls, are installed in the vessel and then ultrasonically welded to special strips anchored to the concrete. 
• Team AquaTec Ebern GmbH with VTAF (Vacuum-Tubular-Precoat-Filtration): the VTAF, for which a patent application has been filed, combines two well-known and proven filtration methods: vacuum filtration and pressurised precoat filtration. 
• THE PAULY GROUP GmbH & Co. KG with Geomatrix^® Bodenfilter: At FreibadPLUS, the reed-covered, vertically flowing Geomatrix^® soil filter ensures biological water treatment--completely without chlorine. Natural microorganisms and reed roots maintain high water quality, even with large numbers of visitors. 
• Water Carbon s.r.o. with AC Pool NEW: the patented technology saves 80-85% of the water and energy associated with pool water replacement. It operates continuously, 24/7, helping to keep the water clean throughout the day.
