Water analysis expert Palintest Ltd. has developed new Pooltest 3 and Pooltest 6 photometers for on-site pool water quality testing. The new products have exceptional accuracy, using narrow band filters with a wavelength tolerance of +/-2 nm. The instruments also offer enhanced path length for measurement, enabling excellent resolution at low concentrations for precision readings. The Pooltest 3 is designed to be ideal for routine pool monitoring, and can test for Chlorine levels, pH and Cyanuric Acid, with the option of an extended range Chlorine test for when a 0-10 mg/l range is desired.
The Pooltest 6 tests those same basic parameters, and can also measure Alkalinity, Bromine and Calcium Hardness levels for a more in-depth analysis of the water quality. The improved performance of these new instruments, coupled with the ability to take readings more often, means that the perfect balance between safe hygiene and potentially unpleasant additive levels has never been easier to achieve.
