T&A, the automatic pool cover specialist, has developed its range of PVC slats by introducing a new category of slats made of polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate (PC) is well known for its strong mechanical resistance, low temperature-induced warping and enhanced durability.

Although solar slats made of PVC do, indeed, work well for Northern European regions, polycarbonate slats are found to be much more suited to the hotter climate of Southern Europe (where UV radiation levels are higher).

They are also more resistant to bad weather conditions such as hailstorms.

These polycarbonate slats round off the brand's range of transparent PVC solar slats. Polycarbonate slats are not yet compliant with standard NF P-90-308.
