CCEI has invented Plug-in-Pool, a watertight underwater electrical outlet without contacts, for instantly connecting and disconnecting electrical accessories. This innovation simplifies, in particular, the installation of underwater lights.
Usually, electrical devices are powered by a cable passing through or over the pool wall, as in the case of pool cleaning robots. The Plug-in-Pool removes this constraint.
This universal underwater power outlet works on the principle of transmission of electrical energy by induction. With no wires, no contacts and, above all, exceptionally safe, the Pool-in-Plug consists of a waterproof base fixed in the wall of the pool serving as socket for the plug. Whenever it is disconnected, the power turns off automatically. A bayonet mechanism locks in the device while letting the plug rotate freely, thus eliminating cable twist.
Bidirectional communication allows the connected accessories to exchange information with the electrical supply unit located in the machine room.
CCEI also proposes a PLUG-IN-POOL version of its GAIA LED projector.
