AstralPool introduces Viron, a new range of fully variable speed energy efficient pumps to suit all pool sizes, filtration systems and budgets.
Viron range has been designed for ease of operation and for maximum life span in the most demanding working conditions, made of 316L stainless steel hardware, robust engineering plastics and high quality silicone seals create a pump that lasts.
The large liquid crystal display clearly shows the RPM of the motor and enables adjustment of the start-up priming time, priming flow rate, and visual display of each speed setting. The inbuilt 24 hour timer is easily enabled and provides up to four time periods each day with different speed settings to provide the perfect flow rate for each pool.
Three programmed speeds are factory preset and each speed is able to be adjusted with a simple press of an up or down button. Each pump speed can be changed to optimise the water flow to suit the pool shape, cleaner type, size and location, making it among the most flexible and easy to use variable speed pumps on the market.
With a loud level a 75% lower than the one speed pumps the pump is ultra-quiet.
Environmentally Friendly pumps
Increasing or decreasing the speed of a pump simply changes the flow rate by the same rate. According to its manufacturer, the energy consumed to change the speed and flow rate drops by more than 85% compared to conventional single speed pumps. So, it will save money every year in operating costs and will reduce greenhouse emissions by up to 90%.
Different pumps for different needs
The Viron from AstralPool range is composed by two models:
- Viron P320 which is ideal for the average sized pool, with a flow rate sufficient to back wash up to 30" or 800 mm diameter sand filters.
- Viron P600, with a 600 litres per minute flow rate, which is ideal for larger pools, multiple spa jets, water features or in floor cleaning systems.
