For Dom Composit, a leading company in the manufacture of thermoformed acrylic stairs, 2016 was a year of numerous new products. The latest is presented at the Piscine Global expo: patented under-liner steps available in any width, available with a 60cm deep step (BEACH version), or a 60cm deep second step (LEISURE version).

A model with a width of between 2m and 6m is available to-order with 3 steps for a height of 90cm, or 4 steps for 120cm.

Under-liner steps are indeed proving to be a successful concept. It provides an interesting solution to pool builders as the industrial thermoforming* process provides precise dimensions for these steps. This prevents on-site dimension errors upon liner installation. Other benefits include the installation speed and compatibility with any finish (tiles, liner, reinforced membrane).

The company’s industrial base comprises an 8,000m² production unit that is entirely automated for thermoforming.

*A modern process allowing for shapes to be made out of a material by heating it to soften it.
