The German company Water-i.d. GmbH, which has been producing and distributing the popular PoolLab 1.0 since 2017 (45,000 new users each year), will offer a new model with technological developments, in the 1st quarter of 2023.
The PoolLab® 2.0, a new model with technological developments
The PoolLab® 2.0 has 3 parallel water measurement chambers and can measure up to 24 water parameters (compared to 13 with PoolLab 1.0), including hardness, copper, phosphate, chlorine, oxygen active, pH, alkalinity and cyanuric acid. The measurement result is obtained easily thanks to 2 keystrokes.
In addition to the Bluetooth® connection (LabCOM® app/software/ cloud), the new PoolLab® 2.0 version offers a WiFi connection to the free LabCOM® cloud, without the need to first connect to a smartphone. The measurement data is thus synchronized in real time in each account associated with the water measurement, on the application, the software and in the cloud. The app/software (Android, iOS and Windows) offers the user measurement data management and measurement reports at the touch of a button, as well as an active chlorine calculator, LSI calculation and the option to create dosing recommendations based on the water care products individually entered by the user.
The large colour display with backlighting of the PoolLab® 2.0 makes it easy to use and the device is IP68 waterproof so that the water to be measured can be scooped directly from the pool. The triple cuvette of the measuring chambers is replaceable.
Version 2.0 will be marketed for only EUR20 more than the previous model, thus including for this supplement: 3 parallel measurement chambers, WiFi connection and free LabCOM® application/software/cloud.
