Leading spa and sauna company, Harvia Plc, has announced the acquisition of Sauna-Eurox Oy, a global supplier of safe and durable sauna stones.

This investment implements Harvia's growth strategy and complements their sauna and spa solutions offering. With this acquisition, the Finnish sauna heater manufacturer will benefit from the stone-related expertise required for business expansion and quality assurance in a product category that is essential for sauna heaters to create relaxing sauna moments around the world, in line with their Healing with Heat philosophy.

Sauna-Eurox is the world´s leading manufacturer of sauna stones with over 30 years of experience of different stone varieties, their thermal durability, and their use as sauna stones. The Finnish company manufactures sauna stones from local natural sources such as olivine diabase and vulcanite, and also produces different decorative top layer sauna stones. All Sauna-Eurox stones are hand selected and factory pre-washed premium products. 

This partnership will allow Harvia and Sauna-Eurox to increase the availability of sauna stones and bolster their production capacity. Concurrently, Harvia also acquired Sauna-Eurox Oy's sister company Parhaat Löylyt Oy. Consolidated revenue of the acquired companies, which will continue their operations at their current premises in Luvia, Finland, with the current personnel, totalled approximately EUR 3.2 million in 2020.
