The company Tintometer introduces its new “Pool tester active oxygen-copper-pH”. Background: The process combination of active oxygen-copper-pH is being increasingly accepted as an alternative water treatment process.
The recommended concentration of active oxygen in water between 3 and 8 mg/l guarantees a quick rate of disinfection. In order to avoid the formation of algae, the copper concentration should be regulated between 0.4 and 0.7 mg/l.
The measurements are conducted in tandem with the newly developed Lovibond pool test using reagent tablets which exhibit long-term stability.
