Binder, specialist in counter-flow systems, is exhibiting again this year at aquanale. The family-run company from Hamelin (Germany) is the inventor of the turbine swimming system and celebrates its 20th anniversary this autumn.
Binder celebrates its 20th anniversary
It all began in 2003 with innovative drive systems for pool covers. Binder brought powerful tube and shaft motors onto the market which, thanks to their compact design, comfortably fit in the winding shaft. Shortly afterwards, the company founder, Siegfried Binder, came up with the idea of developing the HydroStar turbine swimming system.
At aquanale, a number of athletes will demonstrate the performance of HydroStar live in the on-site pool, including Paralympic gold medal winner, Elena Semechin (Birth name: Krawzow). Elena is the brand ambassador for the EasyStar retrofit system and recommends the current not only for intensive swimming training, but also for wellness exercises.

The power of the turbine swimming system can be conveniently controlled with the BINDER24 app, which now offers three new features. From now on, training programmes can easily be shared with other users. In addition, the app can be adjusted precisely to the user's own preferences and finally, thanks to the update, it is now more convenient to switch between different systems. The app is not the only control element that has been updated, however. At the trade fair, Binder will also be presenting its new push button for the first time.
