The Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dash Ganeson as the new Honorary Treasurer. With an illustrious background in finance and a commitment to the industry, Dash brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
35 years of experience in financial management at the service of SPATA
As Honorary Treasurer, Dash will be a key part of the SPATA National Council, playing an advisory role for SPATA and being involved in the Council's decisions collectively involving the Association's fiscal health and sustainability, budgets, investments, new membership applications, and financial planning initiatives to ensure SPATA's continued growth and success.
As Managing Director of SCP (UK) LTD, a subsidiary of POOLCORP INC, and with a background in Chartered Accountancy, Dash has a career which has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to fostering financial integrity, transparency, and innovation and brings 35 years of experience in financial management to SPATA. His proven track record of strategic financial planning and implementation will be instrumental for the Council in guiding SPATA towards achieving its future growth.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Dash arrived in the UK in the late seventies, embarking on a career in Accountancy and Finance, starting with an apprenticeship in Holborn. Dash has extensive experience managing commercial operations and spent nearly a decade abroad in the nineties, travelling to countries across Asia and the Middle East. As the Managing Director of SCP (UK) Ltd, he was previously the Finance Director at the company's Gatwick Office and has been with the organisation for over 20 years.

SPATA welcomes Dash to his new position and looks forward to his guidance and expertise in further developing the trade association's work to reach new heights of financial excellence and accomplishment. SPATA also thanks Patrick Thorpe for his support and dedication, he held the position of SPATA Treasurer for over 40 years and continues his role as BSPF Company Secretary.
