Elbtal Plastics is an innovative manufacturer of all types of high-quality PVC-foils. From swimming pool and pond liners to sealing membranes for buildings to special solutions in foils. In their research, they have noticed that plants for example defend from environmental influences by developing a super thin, resistant and soil-resisting coating. The ELBE ICEcoated – System transfers these properties on a swimming pool liner.

Thanks to the advantages of the ICE Nano coating, its brand, Pearl, has created a new generation of liners for swimming pools offering original aesthetic effect. The liner Pearl, with a pearly sheen, ensures a non-stick surface and ultra-resistant against the most aggressive spots. It is abrasion and solvent-resistant, highly UV-stabilized. Depending on the incidence of light, the light source and the degree of brightness, the pearl effect provides a set of dynamic lighting and shimmer. Two designs are already available, black pearl and white pearl.

- at water temperature of maximum 28 °C
- not resistant to tar, bitumen, oil, fuel
- not resistant in direct contact to other plastics, e.g. polystyrene
