Zodiac Pool Care Europe will complete its range of Vortex™ electronic robot cleaners by launching one of the first-of-its-kind four-wheel drive robot in early 2012 - the Vortex™ 3 4 WD, the ultimate in pool equipment. No, it’s not a car, but an electronic poolcleaning robot!

The four-wheel drive means more efficient treatment of the pool, better manoeuvring of obstacles, optimized traction on any type of floor, and faster cleaning.

This new model is equipped with a series upgrade, now available also in the Vortex™ 3 and Vortex™ 4: the ActivMotion Sensor™, a patented automatic trajectory corrector, a 3D sensor that optimizes cleaning and reduces incidences of entangled cables.

This all-terrain electronic robot is recommended for all pools of up to 12m x 6m, especially those with irregular shapes. And of course it offers the same advantages as the previous models, viz: a unique design with a high-capacity filter tray, easy to access and maintain, dual safety and electronic protection for the motor, with a 20-second automatic cut-off in case of obstruction or if it is no longer in the water, a floating anti-twist cable, a 2-year warranty and, above all, cyclonic suction power, constant and unmatched.

The accessories include a control unit, a filter tray, blade brushes and a trolley.
