The GIANT plastic turbine series are high-technology pumps developed by the Research & Development department at PSH Pools.
Their design and development are covered by European and international patents.
This series provides swimming pool builders with the first high-flow pump made totally of plastic with logarithmic spirals.
The turbine’s curved blades are more effective than straight ones, which is directly related to the turbine’s yield, but the problem is that the plastic impellers are hard to remove from the mould, a problem that PSH Pools has solved with a totally innovative system that provides access to high engine power with no fear of having the turbines open up.
This impeller enables Giant pumps, with a 9-mm thickness on all surfaces, to achieve hydraulic yield of around 85%. Their class F isolation makes them compatible with sea water, salt water chlorinators and ionizers. Equipped with an IE2 or IE3 high-efficiency motor, as the customer chooses, they provide significant electricity savings.
