This year, nearly 70 innovations competed to be elected among the nominees of the Piscine Global Pool Innovation Awards. The jury selected 11 innovations from these applications, to retain only 4, in the running for the final awards. The award ceremony took place at the show, in front of an audience of industry professionals, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
4 innovations that advance the world of swimming pools
- The 1st Prize was awarded to Floatee, the anti-drowning T-shirt for children. Designed to be worn by children from 12 months to 6 years old, it inflates automatically when immersed in water and positions the child on his back in less than 5 seconds! This innovation is made in France, patented and of course, reusable.
- The 2nd Prize and Sustainable Innovation Prize was awarded to Sandbag®, Fluidra's new filter media. It is made from recycled glass and is therefore environmentally friendly. With just one backwash per year, this filter media can generate up to 90% water savings!
- The 3rd Prize goes to Clean Water Tab by Novpool SAS. This mineral wax tablet of natural origin promotes the good ecosystem of the water, keeping it healthy and odorless. Economical, this solution provides treatment for 3 to 6 months!
- Finally, Vigiline from CCEI received the Public Prize, a new award this year given according to the votes of the visitors of the show.
